1.     This Privacy Policy governs the access and usage of the “Civil Defence Corps Delhi” (CDCD) mobile application which is an initiative of Directorate of Civil Defence, Delhi, Government of Delhi.
2.     This privacy policy should be read in conjunction with the Term of use available under heading “Terms of use”.
3.     If the terms of this privacy policy are not acceptable to you. Please do not use CDCD mobile application.

Terms of use

1.     “Civil Defence Corps Delhi” (CDCD) mobile app intends to provide information on Civil Defence Corps, Disaster management and other related matters through static pages.
2.     By accepting Terms & Conditions as specified in this app, you agree and acknowledge that the access and use of CDCD app by you is voluntary and of your own accord.
3.     You acknowledge and hereby agree that your access and use of CDCD app shall be subject to the applicable laws, rules and regulations for the time being in force in india. CDCD app is currently available on Google Play Store (for Android Mobile devices)
4.     As a user of CDCD app, you are granted non-exclusive access to this app which could be utilized in offline mode as well after it is downloaded from google play store.
5.     The right to supersede or replace any or all the terms & conditions is reserved with The Directorate of Civil Defence, Delhi, Government of Delhi.

6.     Scope of CDCD App

CDCD mobile application is built to spread awareness on Civil Defence Corps, disaster management and related matters in public interest. Multiple type of information is available in one app to promote transparency and easy accessibility.

7.     Responsibility and ownership of Information and content

The content and information contained in the app has been created by The Directorate of Civil Defence through various sources including internet. Utlmost care has been taken so as not to infringe the intellectual property rights of any entity. However if any entity finds any breach of intellectual property rights, the same may be brought to the knowledge of Directorate of Civil Defence, Delhi at civildefencehq.delhi@gov.in

8.     Limitation on Liability

Though every effort has been made to provide all authentic information through CDCD app, however, it is not guaranteed that the platform meets any specific requirement, that it will be available interrupted or that it is 100% secure and error free or that the quality of any information available on the platform will meet user expectations.

Users expressly understand that in no event Directorate of Civil Defence, Delhi or Govt of Delhi be liable for any expense, loss or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, of data, arising out of or about the use of CDCD app.

9.     Limitation on use

The CDCD platform is for the personal use only and not for commercial exploitation. The user shall not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, rent, lease, loan, sell, sublicense, copy, modify, reproduce, republish, distribute, display or create derivative works from CDCD. Nor may the user use any network monitoring or discovery software to determine the site architecture, or extract information about usage, individual identities or users. The user will not use any robot, spider, other automatic software or device, or manual process to monitor or copy CDCD without our prior written permission. Any unauthorized use of CDCD is prohibited and is an offence under applicable laws.

10.  Right to Terminate
Directorate of Civil Defence reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service / Information (or any part of it), with or without notice.

11.  Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Indian law. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi only.

12.  Proprietary Rights and License

All trademarks (including logo, mark, name, caption), copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights of any nature in CDCD, its components and offered services, vests with Directorate of Civil Defence Delhi, Government of Delhi. The user should not adapt or use otherwise any name, mark or logo that is identical, or confusingly similar to any of the marks and logos used by and/or related to CDCD. The users agree and acknowledge that the access and use of the CDCD and services through this shall not be construed to confer on the users any rights of any nature including rights in any form of intellectual property contained in the services and/or CDCD or related to Directorate of Civil Defence Delhi, Government of Delhi. If in the course of accessing and using CDCD and its services through this, the user even unintentionally infringes the rights including rights in any form of intellectual property of Directorate of Civil Defence Delhi, Government of Delhi in the services, the users shall immediately cease and desist any such use.

Any person or entity may utilize the information contained is this app in accordance with the terms & condition for free.
